이 방침은 Read.mer가 제공하는 Chrome 확장 프로그램 ‘scooop’과 사용자가 선택적으로 설치하는 Windows용 scooop PPT Helper에 적용됩니다. scooop은 자동 요소 감지, 지정 영역, 현재 화면 및 전체 페이지 캡처를 제공하며 결과를 PNG, 이미지 클립보드, 편집 가능한 Figma 레이어 또는 PowerPoint 개체로 내보낼 수 있습니다.

현재 버전에는 사용자 데이터, 캡처 내용 또는 사용 분석 정보를 Read.mer 서버, 광고 서비스나 추적 서비스로 보내는 코드가 없습니다. 캡처와 변환은 사용자가 요청한 순간에 사용자의 기기에서 처리됩니다.

사용자가 선택한 웹사이트 콘텐츠

사용자가 캡처 기능을 실행하면 선택한 요소 또는 범위의 화면, 텍스트, 이미지, SVG, 스타일, 요소의 위치와 크기 등 결과 생성에 필요한 정보를 처리합니다. 이 정보는 캡처 이미지 생성과 지원되는 Figma·PowerPoint 개체 재구성에만 사용합니다.

외부 웹 자산

선택한 요소가 이미지, SVG 또는 CSS 배경 자산을 참조하면 정확한 캡처와 변환을 위해 해당 자산의 원래 주소에 직접 요청할 수 있습니다. 요청은 자산 제공 사이트로 직접 전송되며 Read.mer 서버를 거치지 않습니다.

설정과 로컬 도우미

사용자가 선택한 인터페이스 언어는 chrome.storage.local에 저장됩니다. PPT로 복사를 선택하면 변환된 Office 그래픽 데이터가 Native Messaging으로 같은 기기의 PPT Helper에 전달되어 로컬 클립보드에 기록됩니다.

• activeTab·scripting: 사용자가 툴바에서 실행한 현재 탭에 캡처 인터페이스와 변환 코드를 표시합니다.
• offscreen: 별도 화면을 열지 않고 캡처 이미지를 자르고 PNG와 클립보드용 데이터를 만듭니다.
• clipboardWrite: 사용자가 복사 버튼을 누른 경우에만 결과를 로컬 클립보드에 기록합니다.
• debugger: 사용자가 확인한 전체 페이지 캡처에서만 현재 탭에 일시 연결하며, 캡처 후 즉시 연결을 해제합니다.
• storage: 사용자가 선택한 인터페이스 언어를 기기에 저장합니다.
• downloads: 사용자가 PNG 저장을 선택하면 Chrome의 저장 위치 선택 창을 엽니다.
• nativeMessaging: PPT로 복사할 때 로컬 PPT Helper로 Office 그래픽 데이터를 전달합니다.
• 웹사이트 호스트 권한: 사용자가 선택한 페이지와 그 요소가 참조하는 이미지·SVG·CSS 배경 자산을 읽습니다.

모든 권한은 사용자가 요청한 웹 캡처와 결과 내보내기라는 단일 목적에만 사용합니다.

인터페이스 언어 설정만 Chrome 로컬 저장소에 보관합니다. 페이지 콘텐츠, 스크린샷, 변환 결과와 사용 기록은 Read.mer 서버에 저장하지 않습니다.

PNG 파일과 클립보드 결과는 사용자가 선택한 저장 위치와 운영체제 클립보드에 남을 수 있으며, 삭제와 보관은 사용자가 직접 관리합니다. PPT Helper는 전달받은 그래픽 데이터를 외부 서버에 저장하거나 전송하지 않습니다.

Read.mer는 scooop이 처리하는 웹사이트 콘텐츠, 캡처 결과 또는 설정을 판매하거나 광고 플랫폼, 데이터 중개업체 또는 그 밖의 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다.

외부 자산 요청에는 해당 자산 제공자의 개인정보처리방침이 적용될 수 있습니다. Chrome의 저장·다운로드·클립보드 기능과 Chrome 웹 스토어 이용에는 Google의 정책이 독립적으로 적용됩니다.

사용자는 캡처 모드를 직접 활성화하거나 해제할 수 있고, 결과를 복사·저장하지 않고 닫을 수 있으며, 확장 프로그램과 선택 설치형 PPT Helper를 언제든 제거할 수 있습니다. 저장된 언어 설정은 Chrome의 확장 프로그램 데이터 삭제 기능으로 제거할 수 있습니다.

Read.mer 서버에 사용자 계정이나 캡처 데이터를 보관하지 않으므로 Read.mer가 별도로 열람·정정·삭제할 서버 데이터는 없습니다.

scooop의 Chrome API 정보 이용은 Chrome 웹 스토어 사용자 데이터 정책과 제한적 이용(Limited Use) 요건을 준수합니다. 처리하는 정보는 공개된 캡처·변환 기능 제공에 필요한 범위로 제한하며 광고, 프로파일링, 신용 판단 또는 대출 목적으로 사용하지 않습니다.

scooop은 원격 코드를 실행하지 않습니다. 실행되는 JavaScript와 라이브러리는 확장 프로그램 패키지에 포함되어 있습니다. 기능, 권한, 저장 또는 외부 연동이 변경되면 이 방침과 웹스토어 공개 내용을 먼저 업데이트합니다.

This policy applies to the scooop extension for Chrome and the optional scooop PPT Helper for Windows provided by Read.mer. scooop offers smart element, custom area, visible viewport, and full-page capture. Results can be exported as PNG files, copied as images, or converted into supported editable Figma layers or PowerPoint objects.

The current version contains no code that sends user data, captured content, or usage analytics to Read.mer servers, advertising services, or tracking services. Capture and conversion run on the user's device when the user requests them.

User-selected website content

When the user activates a capture feature, scooop processes the selected element or area's appearance, text, images, SVG content, styles, position, dimensions, and other information needed to produce the requested result. It uses this information only to create the capture and reconstruct supported editable Figma or PowerPoint objects.

External website assets

If a selected element references an image, SVG, or CSS background asset, scooop may request that asset directly from its original URL to produce an accurate capture or conversion. The request goes directly to the asset provider and does not pass through a Read.mer server.

Preferences and local helper

The interface language selected by the user is stored in chrome.storage.local. When the user chooses Copy to PowerPoint, locally generated Office graphics data is sent through Native Messaging to the PPT Helper on the same device and placed on the local clipboard.

• activeTab and scripting: show the capture interface and conversion logic in the current tab after the user opens scooop.
• offscreen: crop screenshots and create PNG and clipboard data without opening a separate visible page.
• clipboardWrite: write a result to the local clipboard only after the user clicks a copy action.
• debugger: temporarily attach to the current tab only for a user-confirmed full-page capture, then detach immediately after capture.
• storage: keep the user's selected interface language on the device.
• downloads: open Chrome's save dialog when the user chooses Save PNG.
• nativeMessaging: send Office graphics data to the local PPT Helper when the user chooses Copy to PowerPoint.
• Website host permissions: read the user-selected page and referenced image, SVG, and CSS background assets.

Every permission is used only for scooop's single purpose: user-requested web capture and result export.

Only the interface language preference is retained in Chrome local storage. Website content, screenshots, conversion output, and usage history are not stored on Read.mer servers.

PNG files and clipboard results may remain in the location or operating-system clipboard chosen by the user and are controlled by the user. The PPT Helper does not store or transmit received graphics data to external servers.

Read.mer does not sell website content, capture results, or preferences processed by scooop and does not provide them to advertising platforms, data brokers, or other third parties.

Requests for external assets may be subject to the asset provider's privacy policy. Google's own policies separately govern Chrome storage, downloads, clipboard services, and the Chrome Web Store.

Users directly activate and deactivate capture modes, may close a result without copying or saving it, and may remove the extension and optional PPT Helper at any time. The saved language preference can be removed through Chrome's extension-data controls.

Because Read.mer does not maintain user accounts or captured content on its servers, Read.mer has no separate server-side capture data to access, correct, or erase.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is processed only as necessary to provide the prominently disclosed capture and conversion features. It is not used for advertising, profiling, creditworthiness, or lending.

scooop does not execute remote code. Its JavaScript and libraries are included in the extension package. If features, permissions, storage, or integrations change, this policy and the Chrome Web Store disclosures will be updated before the change takes effect.
